Department for Education
The Department for Education (DfE) was formed on 12 May 2010 and is responsible for education and children's services within the United Kingdom.
All statutory guidance and legislation linked to and from the DfE site continues to reflect the current legal position unless indicated otherwise, but may not reflect Government policy.
On the FLSE site, we have tried to provide up-to-date information from the DfE that is relevant to our members within (but not solely exclusive to) the world of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
