SEND CONFERENCES
This covers the (termly) SEND Conferences that are hosted by the FLSE approximately three times a year. Copies of the agendas and minutes can be downloaded below. Just click on the relevant document you require.

The FLSE hosted the most recent SEND Conference in November 2011. Major areas for discussion were:
- The two White papers (Health and DfE),
- The SEN Green Paper
- New rules/legislation on Academies
- Issues raised by the White Paper around Training Schools, Health and Post-19 provision.
The SEND Conference Group is formed by representatives from BATOD, DfE, ENGAGE, FLSE, HAYS EDUCATION, NAHT, NASEN, NASS, PRUs, SSAT and SWALSS.
Next Meeting
The next SEND Conference meeting is currently scheduled for
Wednesday 22nd February 2012
and will be held at The George Inn, 77 Borough High Street, London SE1 1NH. (The Bridge School was not available on this occasion).
An agenda will be circulated in due course.
The nearest tube is London Bridge. Follow signs from the train to 'Borough High Street', when given the choice opt for 'East Side'. Turn left out of the station and The George is on the left. There should be a sign at the exit of the station for The George Inn.
The meeting will run from 10.30am – 2.45pm with refreshments on arrival and a buffet lunch.
